It would be a fair assumption to make that Leeds' financial situation is far, far healthier than Huddersfields, so what he says makes perfect sense. Doesn't it.

I don't like to make assumptions based on what other people post. If I were that bothered I'd go and find out the information for myself. Seeing as all this is just a load of internet posturing though I don't think I'll bother.


We have a stadium of which the capacity is well in excess of the highest average crowd in the league. Of course we have spare seats, any club would in our ground.

We have a rich backer. We are lucky. There isn't a club in the land that wouldn't welcome having someone like KD involved.

So what exactly is all the do here then?

Tis £1 but TBH I can't be arsed looking up Huddersfield. Given what we know about Ken Davy's involvement though I don't believe it is an unreasonable assumption. I'll let someone else do the legwork for once.

Anyway, Leeds made a £264k profit before tax on turnover of £9.8m in the last set of published accounts Maybe Hudds fans won't think so badly about it when they recognise that £20 is going to a good Rugby League cause - Leeds need to sustain GH's bonus after all.

We lose money, Davy has said himself he has to put into the club something of roughly equivalent value to selling a large house. Of the entire SL how many clubs are making money? Two? Three, tops?
