It isn't as if Leeds don't offer cheap tickets. They do.
It would be foolish not to, hence the season ticket "perk" of bringing a mate to a game for free (excluding cat A games ) and the rather nifty £10 adult free child ticket thats knocking about.
+ there are always a few freebie tickets for the kids floating around too.

now you see one of those would probably tempt me and the bairn to come
Why has the fact that children with season tics not been mentioned on this thread? All this about expensive for families who would, if true fans, only have to buy 2tics for adults.IIRC the prices at Huddersfield are higher for away fans thean home fans, a scandal in itself!

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You do not recall correctly at all.
Somewhere in the dust of time rest the bones of the Galilean He who was spat upon. He whose face was marred beyond all human likeness Somewhere buried among the lies of the past rests the tomb of Yeshua Of he who was made God in a world without Hope. And when this son of Joseph is found. What then will the Church of Rome say? Prepare yourself for the day is coming. And men will say "Blessed are the wasted lives who perished in the flames of the holy war"

As I recall the last time I was at Headingly I got eaten by a giant eagle.

How exactly are the prices higher for Away fans than home fans at ours?? Anyone regardless of who they support can obtain a ticket for £16.50 if the pre book and then the pay on the day prices for all areas is £18.50!! We don't have membership schemes where a member can have a discount off the matchday price! So in theory Leeds charge more for Away fans than home fans as we don't have access to the membership scheme!
A family of 2 adults and 2 children at ours is £33 and only £10 more if the children are over 12 for both home and away fans!! Whereas a family of 4 at headingly is £64! An almost 100% increase even if you do have trophies it doesn't justify such an increase!! OK some families may utilise their kids junior away ticket but not every season ticket came with additional stubs!
At the end of the day its all down to personel choice, l think the Giants give the best value for money, for away fans in SL, at Wakey my grandson, free at the Giants was charged a tenner, rip off, the Rhino,s are the same, so we simply won´t go, they can say what they like about the Giants away support, but why should we fill their coffers, the more we are mugged the more they will mug us, l think this is one for the RL maybe standerdise prices, even if you have to stand in a 50 year old shed.

Chances are though we'll have to increase ours to standardise them across the board.
Think our club offers the best value for money in SL, just because a team wins a trophy they can does not mean they should rip off people who want to watch them, but the Leeds fans seem very happy to pay through the nose.
I'm sure they wish they had our prices and ground.
