After 3 games? After 3 games under Sharp the team were unbeaten and top of the league. I do not understand why some people try to make out that success was 'in spite' of Sharp. That's just ridiculous and pathetic really isn't it.

it was time for him to move on homer.. we needed to new leader and it has worked out ok ... so far

fickle fans? dont think so. more an opinion, this is a forum

More conjecture. You don't know that most coaches would have done what he did and more...

It's easy to slag someone off after the event. It's easy to say Brown is better 3 games into his reign. What will you say after we've lost a few, no doubt you'll be slagging him off as you're trying to slag off Sharp now.

Meaningless posts, worthless. The energy would be far better spent on concentrating on the here and now and just giving Sharp credit for what we achieved under him just like he gets the grief for the failings.

Just as people can waste bandwidth with pointless slagging off of ex-coaches who ultimately did their best, I can try to bring what I see as a bit of sense to proceedings by giving the man a bit of credit.

Every coach is just an ex-coach waiting to happen. So there's really little point in slagging off the old one in favour of he new one every time. The next one wont always be better or worse, just different.

Perhaps it was, perhaps it wasn't. Either way it has happened so you get on with it. It is no reason to go belittling the man and trying to take away his part in our achievements while blaming him solely for our deficiencies. A bit of balance is required in these wonky posts IMO.

I agree, it really was time after the 2007 season. I just don't understand why people still slag Sharp off despite the fact that he basically made the club what it is today.

You are right its pathetic that these fans still bag Jon sharp for all the success he gave us.
