Certainly Bulls have had the problems with injuries and it is clear that there backs and half backs are not up to it. the big surprise is their forwards. I expected them to have a big bullying pack but Burgess looks like a shadow ( albeit a fatter one) of him former self. If you look at our pack now compared to the Bulls how many of them would you choose over ours. Griffin, Mason, Moore, Wild, Raleigh, Eorl, Lunt etc seem to be far better than their pack. Obviously coaching and confidence has a lot to play in it but some of our players are now showing the quality that they have. Menzies whlist a class act seems to struggle being a one man band and to my mind is playing too much game time. Bad days at the Hole in the ground |
