interesting game on SKY 3 at the minute with Greg Mcnally playing. Not really seen much of him yet but the Haven winger Calvert has some pace and is not scared to attack the line . Has scored along distance try and his last one was a cruel blow for barrow.

barrow got a penalty and the hooter sounded. Barrow kick for touch get the ball back and launch a high kick right on the Haven line. Haven player gets the ball from Barrow knock on, mc Nally catches it and passes it to Calvert , goes 70 m down field and beats his winger comes inside to beat the full back but gets impeded by his own player so goes outside and scores in the corner.

Mc nally gets the conversion.

Haven have had two chances and scored two 80 m tries

In the few Whitehaven games i've seen on SKY so far this season, i've not seen much from McNally to suggest he's ready for SL yet. Ok he scored a few tries last time they were on tv but isn't involved in the game enough. I didn't see the line up before the game last night but he looked to be playing centre although i thought he was a half back.

he was ok but didnt do anything to stand out for me either.

it seemed to me he was scrum half at scrums but quickly shifted to centre when barrow had the ball and more of a halfback role when haven had the ball.

probably a tactic to keep him away from the big lads defensively.

He seems t me to be a bit of a Danny Mc Guire type a backing up , try poaching lively half back. However he is only young and being in a full time enviroment he will develop the other sides to his game. he also seems to have bulked up a bit i am sure we will see more of that when he comes to us FT.

Definitely not ready for SL yet but i still think he is a great prospect who will be hungry to learn and build a career as a FT RL player.

I thought Amor looked alright being a full timer i can see him becoming a good Pro.
