What we really need from the great season we're having this time is to push on further with our home support numbers next season.

It'd be great to get another couple of thousand on the gate.

Indeed and KD has given all the STH's an incentive to boost numbers with the offer he's put out there.

So to some extent it's down to the people of Huddersfield to spread the word.

I think the pessimists need to finally give their heads a collective shake too and start supporting. The number of times I get folk going on about them when I'm out and about does my head in. They're the first ones chucking crap about when we lose and then talk them up when they win but they don't bother going to the games. Time to start going to the games so I have a decent reason to listen to your waffle, chaps!

i would be great to see bigger cowds at hudds... to say we are third in league and have a great season ticket package but only manage 8000 average is not exactly exciting .. we have improved loads over the years, but to finish 2nd/3rd in the league as cup winners ... we deserve bigger crowds

I am fairly confident in saying if we werent in the middle of the worst recession in decades and the worst unemployment since the darkest of the Thatcher years, our crowds would indeed be a good few thousand higher now

As it is we can be rightly proud of a small increase, where much of the rest of SL has seen drops in crowd numbers, as things pick up early next year and the end of this one, and if we maintain our top 4 status, I think we will reach that hallowed 10k level

Perhaps it's because some people will go to the ends of the earth to avoid watching them!
