Thank you Chris Thorman

I'm not sure the reason why he has left and to be honest that's possibly none of our business. However he has been a fantastic player and coach at our club and I wish him all the best for the future. His career very nearly took him to the very top, he has an exceptional rugby brain and was a talented half back and full back. His record breaking hat trick against Donny is my greatest memory and one I nearly missed as the car broke down on the way to the game, leaving us to run to get to the match on time. Of course there are many others that I am sure others can share.

I would support what has been said. A great servant to the club and stepped in to manage in crisis situations.

With an extra yard of pace to match his speed of thought he would be talked about as a fartown legend.

Good luck to him in whatever he does next

I'm not so sure he would go down as a Hudds legend if that was the case, I genuinely do not think we would have seen him come back from the NRL. His game management was superb along with his decision making. Totally agree that half yard faster he would have gone to the very top and would have been a mainstay in the England side.

Cheers Spuggy, I actually thought he deserved the clubs outstanding achievement award last year for the way he conducted himself and the way he led the club forward during the slump mid season.

Hope that whatever has happened has ended amicably and that he continues his coaching somewhere, I think he'll be a top coach one day.

I also remember watching his performance in the yorks v lancs match at Bradford and thinking he could kick on for more honours based on his performance. We saw him in the players bar after the game and he was one of the few players who were prepared to mix with the fans. A proper top lad.
