Dumb, dumber, dumber and dumber and Wolford

Dumb - Jake Wardle 30 yds out last play of extra time, he taps and runs it in maybe an assist by Michael Lawrence for dumb captaincy. This was the closest we got to drop a goal and with a ten yard away defence a free go no player pressure

Dumber- Oliver Russell trying to drop a goal from half way and double bouncing a kick into the hands of Matatuia with a 30 yards free run.. got Cas on the front foot and lead to the winning drop goal. He struggles at 30m not 50m should have kicked into the corner

Dumber and Dumber - Kruise Leeming passing into a player on half way fifth tackle deserves dropping has he got a brain ?

Woolford - what the bloody hell does he coach them it ain’t game management or common sense

26-20 three minutes to go and in possession and lose how many dumbs does that deserve SHOCKING defeat snatched from the jaws of victory again and undid all the good things they did !!

Have to agree with most but it's not Woolfords fault. He was fuming with our decision making.

Players like Leeming, Jerry etc just can't cope when the pressure is on. Leeming is a liability in those situations.

We mis a leader desperately on the field. None of our senior players are leaders.

Matagi dreadful tonight. Has 1 good game in every 4 but yet people want him signed up long term. Too inconsistent.

I've said this before we need to get rid of all our overseas players, except Taai. They just don't cut it.

Top 5 gone and Woolford knows it now. Has every right to be annoyed.

No offence to Mellor this is simply about preparing for next year but I'd drop him now and develop Hewitt as we've got nothing to play for realistically. Give young Wilson a chance maybe at prop?

Won't be the last time this happens, well lose another 2-3 games by a point this season.

I thought you played well and were unlucky not to get anything.

It felt like we made the territory more so but you looked far more threatening in our red zone than we did in yours, your passing was a lot more quicker and fluent.

I wouldn't lose sleep over the extra time because that's all golden point is , who can successfully nail a drop goal, players panic especially when near half way, get caught in 2 minds and then execution fails. I don't like it. I'm a big fan of the draw.

I think you're very much in the hunt for top 5 and there's not much at all in it between hull Catalan Cas wakey and hudds which will lead to lots of inconsistent results!

from what i saw when leeming passed the ball think it was watts who stuck is hand out when leeming passed it..is that legal now?

matagi's second stint cost us , two penalties then woolford took him straight off, has one good game every 8 games this guy.

teams make far too many yards against us, are we too small?? well yes we are, lose the ruck and collision too often.

we havent had players who can manage a game for years now, we have seen it so many times, can think back to when we signed hinchcliffe thinking maybe this is the guy to change it but no.

agree about the dumb but, jake wardle running the ball in with 20 seconds left , that was our closest chance to get a drop goal!

Watts was just trying to get to his feet and Leeming threw it into his shoulder.

Those are always going to be penalised the other way now, though if a player stands up near the ruck I’m not convinced it should be.

disagree with criticism of Matagi, thought he vran into their line well and showed good agression. It wasnt the forwards that cost us. Overall we played well, a few errors/wrong decisions at times but cant be too critical. we are becoming a decent team and will win a few games yet.

Totally agree Jumper.

Matagi was good again last night. Think he’s exactly the type of prop we need. Tackles hard and often. Runs strong - and usually wins the ruck.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Which of our props aren't any good then? As we make absolutely no metres up field compared to teams coming the other way.

its own to our line speed in defence......
We stand and wait for the opposition to come to us, which gives them the momentum and allows them to make metres after contact, other teams push up quickly in defence and so stop our momentum with their own.
