Got back from holiday and can’t see a thread on this!

Parcell out
Kr have lost their two loanees just this morning- bad luck.

We are still going to have to go with a young back line. But walne and English back is a boost.
McIntosh, McGillvary, Gaskell, Frawley, Leeming, Matagi, Murphy, Mellor, Lawrence, O'Brien, Ta'ai, English, Wardle, Holmes, Ikahihifo, Walne, Louis Senior, Innes Senior, Oliver.

We need to start much stronger than we have at times- and be disciplined.
Will be seen as a Must win for both sides. Who will deal with the pressure better.
Fingers in ears for the constant booing!
Or just bang the cowbells louder to drown them out!

Well that was tough to watch!
Our forwards really stood up to be counted tonight. Walne has been missed and the polar bears got stuck in.
I really thought we’d blown it when we got that repeat set on their line and 3 times OB panicked at the PTB and wasted the chance when he couldn’t make a decision and hesitated on the plays!
Then Darnell dropping that ball from taai!

Not pretty but an important hard fought 2 points!

We outfought them tonight and thoroughly deserved the win, with more composure in attack it would of been more but had to be happy with the defensive effort.
Yes, it was closer than I'd of liked but I don't care how we win, just as long as we do now games are running out.
For the record, darnell had the ball tipped away by the tomkins.

Couldn't get to the match, but, from the Radio Leeds commentary, it sounded like Taai got through a huge amount of work.

Ukuma really is a player we are lucky to have, so underrated and he's been so much more effective since we've been able to move him back to where he belongs in the SR

Agree - taai definitely belongs in the second row been saying it all season.
If Edwards comes and we manage to keep wardle next season our second row choices will be immense!

Taai 27 tackles no misses 142 metres - only Jerry topped those metres with 157 but his defensive stats were 4 tackles 3 missed.

Walne was pretty solid, 95 metres- but 30 tackles and no misses is impressive for a first game back.

Great 2 points and just 1 more win needed, I think.

Taai is immense in the 2nd row.

Our best props are definitely Wilson, English & Walne. Wouldn't miss Seb or Matagi at all. I think another big experienced prop is needed for next season and hopefully we can bring one in if we lose Seb.

Jake Wardle has made the left centre spot his own for me now, looked so strong last 3 games. Turner to move to the forwards next year.

Not convinced that Darnell is a centre at all. What are peoples thoughts on this?

Out of the twins I've been most impressed with Louis myself, Innes looks a tad more nervy under the high ball. Still forget they are only 19, after another pre season or 2 and gain some more strength they will be real quality players.

Really don't see a place in the team for either Leroy or Uate at present. The only player I would bring back for the Leeds game is potentially Joe Wardle.

such an important win!!! far from a polished performance but dont care , points is what matters.

we showed we wanted it more than hull kr.

thought adam walne was excellent on his comeback and carried on from where he left off, could actually be the type of prop we have been missing!! young olly wilson was brilliant too as was murphy off the bench who was awesome in defence.

downside was mcintosh, having way too many errors, starting to think his best position will be on the wing where he scored bags of tries last season, his kicking was poor... barrling why jake wardle wasnt kicking after showing last week what he can do, can only think its down to his injuries in the past.

also woolford, do they players take any notice of him? in the past like at salford he wanted wardle to kick a goal but mcintosh took it. last night wanted to take the two at goal... and the players just carried on?! that could have proved costly.. strange.

upto 8th and above the wildcats
