Well two weeks off before we play Leeds and the grapevine says we will have some more fit men but what should we do?

Adam Walne did his cause no harm at all Friday night played well after so long out without doubt better than anything Ikahihifo has produced

Gaskell class act now Brough has gone funny how Millers form is suffering now

Holmes worth persevering with over Frawley

Oliver Wilson worth whatever we paid for him

Ukuma Ta’ai has to stay in the back row one of our best

The Senior twins improve every week as does Jake Wardle

Murphy still gives 110% and Bruno doesn’t deserve to lose his spot

Frawley needs to go home if homesick is true

Matagi close run thing but I think we can do better although was a tad better at HKR

Mackintosh is feast or famine really good or really bad is left wing his best position ?

From the injured list

Oliver Roberts well down the pecking list should be loaned out to say Halifax/Bradford make or break on how he performs. If he was performance managed as in commerce he’d be on a final warning

Joe Wardle straight back in the mix our attack also improves when he plays we look far less one dimensional

Ikahihifo needs moving on from both parties point of view

Ferguson needs to retire for his own good

Leroy Cudjoe shouldn’t play again this season. He should be given the pre season assessed and then a joint decision made as if another knee injury has future life consequences is it worth him playing on?

Uate not shown enough to displace young Senior an expensive deadweight

Clough good solid performer with the right pack around him

Interesting call for Mr Woolford to make isn’t it ?

I think uate needs to be given a chance to prove himself when fit. The seniors will have their time.
I’m still undecided between frawley and holmes. Frawley makes good decisions and pretty sold defensively, holmes not so much but more skilful.
Our second row should be taai and wardle- they are going to be still around next season and both offer more in attack than mellor and both defensively sound.
Lawrence our stand in captain should be at loose- we need someone with a good defence, and excellent discipline at the back who can hit their front and get quick PTB.
Walne proved he’s got to keep his spot, English for his enthusiasm and doggedness. Wilson must not be overplayed him Matagi and Clough to rotate.
Agree seb and Roberts haven’t proven they deserve to be in above others- but bear in mind we have a reserve squad next season we are likely to keep them- although IMO the salary cap needs to be increased to cover the large squads required.
Young Wardle at centre, hopefully Leroy back to partner Jerry.
Where will turner and butler fit in too!

got to stick with gaskell and holmes in the halves now, holmes does some really good things and can only get better

adam walne keeps his place without doubt

wilson and matty english still young lads and need to be managed correctly

mcintosh for me is prob best as a winger.

leeds playing hull fc today, can see them winning if hull have their eyes already on next weeks challenge cup semi

For me, id like to see the following:

Move on Uate, Frawley, Matagi, Seb & Ollie Roberts as well as Fergie retire. Make the decision on Cudjoe in the off season if he will be fit for seasons start.

Bring in 2 decent props, Kenny Edwards & Ryan Hampshire

Move Darnell back to the wing and move Turner to LF. We then have Louis, Innes & Dom Young to cover the backs.

Id then like us to line up like :

Hampshire
Jerry
Leroy
Wardle
Darnell
Gaskell
Holmes
New Prop
Leeming
Walne
Wardle
Taai
Bruno

Edwards
Wilson
O Brien
English

New Prop
Clough - Prop cover/rotation
Turner - LF cover
Murphy & Hewitt - 2nd row cover
Butler - Cover for centre/2nd Row
Louis, Innes & Dom Young - cover for the backs

Doubt that will happen in time for Leeds !!!!!

May have Turner, Cudjoe, Uate and Wardle back for this one. Who knows to be honest but if so I would bring them all in. Seniors will need a rest before the end of the season if we can afford to and Uate andCudjoe need to play for differing reasons. Macintosh to full back turner to loose, cudjoe and jake W in centres. Wardle in for Mellor. Some may disagree but against Leeds Mellor May be a bit distracted with some mixed emotions and it is too important a game to chance. Not saying he would underperform on purpose by any means and I am a big fan of his but it would be tough driving a nail
Into the potential coffin of your future employers.
Walne to retain his place. Only one I might change up is Wilson for Ikahihifo, again young chap and may need a break but that is only reason.

Whichever team is put out the lads owe themselves and us a good showing after the embarrassment at headingly on good Friday. Leeds are offering their fans the25% of the ticket cost back so they will bring plenty (as usual). We’ve struggled to win in consecutive games this season as have Leeds - we’ve just won, they’ve only just lost.
Important two points and I’m worried which giants team rocks up!

You mean first 40 mins was an embarrassment, we won the 2nd half and if darnell had taken the kick then who knows ?

Get your point about consistency and whichever giants turn up, it will be important for us as fans to get behind the lads.
