Same age as Jerry , hall both still playing good rugby not to the standard they were couple of year ago but still good rugby , you’ve wrote him off before he’s even had the chance to show us what he can do , if when he comes back and he’s awful then find but you’ve got to give him a chance

He’s had a chance and been awful. I don’t buy the injury excuse a foot injury doesn’t stop you catching a ball!

All 3 are 31 if they wanted they have another 3 years in them , I don’t see why you always seem to hate on these 3 , uate hasn’t been given a chance to prove himself when fit , Leroy is one of the most passionate players I’ve ever seen in a giants shirt I have no doubt he wants to pull on the shirt again to help us out more then most and fergie maybe his time has come with this bad injury could do more harm playing on but last year was one our better players

agree, got to give uate a chance to play when hes 100% fit, clearly he wasnt when he played earlier in the season but he put his hand up to play because we were busted for players.

agree with cudjoe and ferguson has just been unlucky, in his come back at wakefield he already showed what he can do, feel for him.. hopefully he can get better with the problem he has and get the all clear to return to training.

id get shut of others before these 3 all day long

A massive game for both Huddersfield and Leeds. Both sides will see it as a game they should win, with the loser in real danger of relegation. Looking forward to this game.

So you think being 100% fit will mean he can suddenly catch??

He was never the greatest at catching when he was in the Nrl but was still a good player, he’s a powerful winger who can make yards and score tries.
I am curious why you are all so positive to write him off without seeing him really play

What do you mean without really seeing him play. He’s played 12 games.
How does he get the ball in his hands to score those tries he scored? I’m not just on about high balls- he’s dropped quite a few decent passes out too.

From what I heard Uate was injured when he arrived. He was promised an operation but then when the injury crisis hit was asked to delay it. Therefore he was playing all his games in pain and with little movement in his ankle. Added to this he was in a new country playing for a new team in weather conditions he had not experienced before. I really can’t understand why he struggled.

Forecast for tomorrow is good so our handling skills need to be spot on.
For me I’d start leeming to get something happening round the ruck early on get them worried from the start. Lunt is terribly predictable he doesn’t run from DH so set for that. - they will go wide early to Newman and Hurrell their strike players. Our edge defence will need to be alert. And we know they will bomb our edges as it’s a massive weakness.
It’s either going to be very close, or we will do our rabbit in a headlights act we often seem to do when the club do something to get new supporters in.
Either way I don’t expect an easy night.

You’ve seen him play injured not fit , I assume that you just don’t like him for no reason really , could understand if he was fully fit when he came but he wasn’t he’s never been fit since the injury for Fiji.

Let’s be fair whilst Leeds are beatable they should start favourites against a side with their 3,4,5 and 8 missing.

We can’t afford a catch up game like Catalans where we only play at the end of each half we need to make it a tough game as if we get our noses in front and stay there the pressure will move all on to Leeds to chase the game.

We cannot let Lui play in his dinner suit as we did Tomkins and O Loughlin in recent home games we need to approach this as an old fashioned cup tie where a 1pt win will do and take the 2’s if they come early.

Cut out the mistakes and 4th tackle penalties and we have a chance.

Bookies have us a very slight favourite and Robert Hicks isn’t the worse ref we could have got.

This is about as big as it gets let’s hope we turn up......
