cant fault the effort today we werent far off winning the game only the last quarter when we had run out of bodies and trying desperate stuff made the scorline more convincing for them.

thought the penalty against wardle for throwing the ball at there man when he tried to twist his knee out was wrong and was probably our last chance gone as was there fans booing matty english for getting knocked out thinking he was play acting
there not a very nice bunch over there are they

tom holmes has to play in the rest of the games now as he offers so much more than frawley does.
disappointed today but not as downhearted as usual after a loss

Some shockingly poor tackling from both sides today. I don’t think it was deliberate but the ref should have stamped on it early.

I’ve never seen a bench actually empty because all 4 subs are being assessed for concussion.

The pen given away by wardle was understandable but a real shame because until then the game was in the balance.

Overall though Salford deserves the win

Congrats. :D

Question for you Hudds fans... who is it at your club that encourages the consistent timewasting/feigning injury? Happened last season with Seb I when Salford were camped on the Hudds line and about to score (he went off winking at our fans after he'd managed to slow the game down) and time after time today your players were at it again. The less said about Gaskell's pathetic dive to milk a penalty against Evalds the better.

The Wilson incident needs serious review. For a guy to spend 3/4 minutes being assessed for a head knock to then be allowed to carry on yet he had to be escorted off the field with his legs totally gone after the next PTB..... something seriously wrong there. To then see him miraculously recover 5/6 minutes later to
come back on and play out the game is a complete farce. It's either complete negligence on Hudds medical staff's part or blatant cheating....

English went off. Not Wilson. Do you need some new specs ?They look similar but they aren’t the same person.

The rest of your comments are just one eyed nonsense

Oh the irony... do you remember the first game of the season when Sau scored a try, injured his chest in the process, was continually holding his chest for a few minutes... took an innocuous tackle then all of a sudden held his head and went off for a head assessment...

So if I got the wrong name are you also saying the guy didn't get a long assessment on the pitch to then play on for one tackle, go off and come back on again? If that's the case and I mixed the 2 up I apologise. The announcer definitely announced Wilson as returning after a head assessment.

I stand by the rest of my comments though. That game must have finished 20 minutes late because of the constant timewasting by Giants players. If you think otherwise then I'm afraid it's you that's one-eyed my little Yorkshire friend... :D

Oh btw Wigsey, I've just been informed that Radio Manchester commentary team were going mental as Wilson DID actually go off clearly concussed yet reappeared on the pitch.

It appears I'm not the only one requiring spectacles then. :thumb:

English went off in the incident you are talking about not Wilson. The Radio Manchester commentary team clearly got it wrong too. Based on the calibre of their commentary I’m not surprised. I was probably twenty yards away.

And yes I’m saying English didn't come back on. In reality he should have been stretchered off not walked off.

The real point here is that he should never have been allowed to play on after the first incident. But he certainly wasn’t play acting which is the whole point of your post.

Yes it goes on and yes all teams do it but not on this occasion.
