The reserves enables squad rotation in a positive way for coaches. Allows youngsters to play the odd game whilst the player the take the place of still gets a run out.

Really surprised you weren't interested in Ryan Hampshire, to me he would of been a better option at fullback for you.

Ash Golding seems to have a good head on his shoulders, great work ethic and is safe as houses under the high ball, he just lacks the pace to be a top draw fullback at this level for me. Still, if he fits into Woolfords plans/style of play he seems like a solid signing for you guys but there was better available over the last few months.

We were interested but he wanted more money from you. him trying to play games has resulted in him being stuck hasn’t it- so he’s probably taken a lower offer to get a contract at all. Perhaps that attitude suggests he wasn’t actually a better option than golding who everyone agree is a hard working model professional. And for us the right kind of person is more important

Hampshire clearly wanted more than he’s worth from everyone so he’s stuck back where he started , not sure Hampshire fit our style either
