Leeds salary cap breach

Leeds’ worst team in years, struggling to avoid relegation was actually the highest paid squad in the comp in 2018.

We may accuse our club of being badly run- but the bean counters must be doing their job correctly.

Hetherington excuses are pathetic- oh we gave a player more money but forgot to inform the RFL until the end of the season.....

Halo gone - now all the original “big four” have breached the cap.

If I read it right, they had a bigger fine than wigans 2017 breach, but were not given the 2 point deduction wigan were originally?

Im interested to see what they have done this year with there late signings to avoid threat of relegation

It was agreed by the SL clubs recently that only a percentage breach of or above a certain amount would result in a points deduction- so basically they’ve given themselves an opportunity to cheat the cap and all it costs is cash,
