Table 2020 : Mon Dec 23, 2019 6:44 pm  

My guess at the table for the coming season ( and to be honest it is a guess ) and will probably be nothing like what it ends up as below the top two or three.

Never the less here it is and i would like our position to be higher than i have it , but i recon its going to be a tough season, still l'm hoping for better than the last few particularly in style.

7 Leeds

8 Giants / Wakey

9 Wakey / Giants

We seem to be most bookies and most peoples favorite along with HKR for the drop , with Wakey getting a few mentions as well . I'm a bit more optimistic than that, I recon it's going to be a tough season but if i remember rightly we lost one or two games by the odd point or two last season with what i thought was the poorest pack in the league, We have strengthened a bit in that area and also should have a good halfback pairing ( injuries allowing ). Despite a lot of inexperience in the back-line by and large they did well and actually saved us on more than one occasion. As always no doubt injuries will play a big part in everyone's season but i feel the changes to our forwards should make a big difference to us and we have plenty of young talent coming through. I don't see us being bottom 2 .

Yes i did mate, I was really not going too for quite a while but as is usually the case i changed my mind, If they had not made some attempt to strengthen the forwards i would not have got one no matter who they signed as a half and i still think we will be a bit weak in the forwards but i appreciate they can only change so many, after last season and a couple before that, we can only improve so onward and upwards.

I didn’t but believe the club deserves some credit for it’s offseason.

Needed a half got one

Needed a full back got one


Needed a prop got one

Needed a bit of mongrel in the pack got some and he also fills ina hole in the second row.

Allied to the match ticket offer which I have got I will look forward to see a couple of games at least.

Yes i agree , Woolford hasn't had much chance up to now but all that should change this season. By what has been said all the players who are with us now at least want to be here and that is half the battle, Still a few i wish wasn't with us but hey ho. For my money the coach is the most important man at the club , lets see how he goes and wish him well.
