They are struggling with injuries at the moment and are especially light in the forwards. They missed 66   tackles in their game against Leeds. Perhaps a hangover from the derby but that’s shockingly poor.
Young Jordle potentially in the frame next week, talk of a possible ban for Darnell though I’m not convinced - should Sam Wood go to FB then? Of will twin 2 come in?
I’d like to see holmes in and OB given A rest for 20 minutes!

In what world does Holmes come in when Clough spelled O’Brien in France quite successfully and put in a decent stint last night as well.

Make no mistake they will be far better on their home turf so why would we weaken the bench to play Holmes for 10/20 mins? Only two reasons other than an injury to change a winning team, one Darnell is banned and two we swap the Seniors over to manage their game time to reflect their ages.

In the world that Clough is never in a Million years a hooker, so can “do a job” but doing a job won’t see us top 5 and OB needs to be fit all season!

I agree , get Holmes in, he is a tomorrow player, or are we contemplating playing all season with props as reserve hook er.

Well had Holmes played last night it would have reduced our chances of winning.

Don’t know if either of you went but it was a very hard physical game, harder than it looked when I rewatched it on Sky and without the four man big bench we could have come up short.

Despite Jools having been on the HKR site suggesting they hit the tackle bags this week as they missed a few tackles last night, they normally turn up when we go there and it’s a pretty close match.

So who would Jools with her magnificent coaching background leave out? Danny Houghton plays 60-80 minutes each week so Hull can put an extra impact forward on the bench

We’ve had a extended break due to weather, the same seven day turnaround as HKR then a nine day break to the Wigan game why would you change what’s worked pretty well so far? 2/2

On a short turnaround maybe but change for changes sake naw... unless Jools has someone in our team she doesn’t like...

Yes I did go last night- did you? You say you watched it- Did you spot how towards the ends of both halves he played AOB looked shattered, he fell off tackles and his passing at times was off the mark? (Unless sezer had grown two foot- who coincidently told him off at one point for it)
Aob isn’t Houghton- few are- asking a guy his size to put in 80 minutes in the middle of the field, make 50 tackles and it not affect his game by the time he’s part waY through the season isn’t realistic.
Why would I change it? Because it’s not sustainable.

and an injury to AOB with no one else having any experience there so far leaves us where?
I just think a running threat against tiring forwards would have been better than another big forward.

Well I saw myself on Sky shaking Darnells hand so guess I was...

If you had read my posts properly it’s totally obvious but if you can’t see the rest of us and think you are the only one there then that’s where Wakey get the taxi idea from.

If AOB was k*******d so was Senior even more so he could hardly run in the last ten minutes... we gonna put a winger on the bench too ?? If you were there sat where I was he was struggling to run at all it was that sort of game.

Holmes is no more a hooker than Clough he’s an average at the moment half back and with only 8 interchanges one to spell a hooker is expensive if that’s all the guy on the bench does.

Even with 12 interchanges Leeds doubled Sinfield up to save an interchange and we do have an ex really good NRL hooker as coach to get someone up to speed.

Now whilst the notion is ridiculous had we say re-signed Sean Lunt to just play 20 minutes a game an exPerienced impact hooker who could play at the level required for a short periods of time and offer an occasional start when necessary then I could see the argument.

Having said all that your ‘trolling’ on the HKR site over missed tackles about sums you up ready to argue with anyone who strays on our site but happy to stir it up on anyone else’s......

I’m not buying you honestly can’t see the difference between your hooker being knackered and a winger.

Ps-does a bit of banter with opposition fans upset you or Did you just leave your sense of humour at Salford?

Perhaps you can explain to how me going on the KR board just before we play them is trolling whilst you going on the wakey board and making the comments you did isn’t?

Yeah easy responding to a Shudds thread, a term I dislike and is incorrect, is different to trolling them over missed tackles when there was no disrespectful reference to our own team.

On the hooker thing we will agree to disagree until such time as we sign a proper back Up hooker not a championship standard half back.
