Don’t get giddy. You don’t want to end up looking daft by the end of the season.....

Excuse me !!! Based on seeing Sezer four times and Widdop twice I’m surely entitled to an opinion.

I totally expect Widdop to improve and to finish behind Warrington by the end of the season but Widdop is part of a ‘star studded’ line up whilst Sezer is playing in an improved but ‘workmanlike’ team with what appears to be the ability to make it fight above it’s weight.

Based on the above thus far Sezer suits us better and Widdop was never the man that would have had that effect.

Crikey of course we are over performing let’s put our realism head on Saints, Wigan, Cas, Wire, Hull and Leeds will finish 1-6 we will finish 7/8/9 but probably, based on what I’ve seen so far, avoid dipping our toes in the relegation pond this year which will be a major improvement on last years narrow escape.

Wigan are 4 pt favourites with the bookies tomorrow which is a fair reflection of a team that carries French, Hastings, Hardaker, Burgess et all !! The interesting thing for me is can we raise our game tomorrow and defy the odds again? Catalans and Salford were 4pt and 2pt favourites too so the odds say we do have a reasonable chance which is why we all love RL....
