It sounds like he’s moving on elsewhere.
In Watsons last interview he states that his agent has said he’s looking at other options and Ricky himself hasn’t told the club what he is doing so they are now looking elsewhere to fill his spot.
That’s a shame but we can’t force players to stay.
No doubt the naysayers will blame it on RT and say we “got rid” of him. When the reality is he chose a different club.
It opens up another overseas spot too.

In my opinion he's been the best centre in the league, he could take his pick of SL clubs and will no doubt have NRL options.

Opportunity for King if he can find some form, I would rather have Jake than Toby on current form but both are top centres on their day

We look weaker next year than this , with two centres now gone, and Cudjoe a year older. Need some exciting signings (not 34 year olds) to maintain Watson's push for silverware

The way Watson was talking about Ricky it sounds like he's signing for a club currently lower in the table, he was saying he wants people who have the ambition to win things. Does that mean he could end up in a team scrapping for the top 6 or below? Or potentially a bottom NRL team, maybe the Dolphins

Can’t see that. Surely that’s just Beaumont bulling up the club (again) they would have to lose a quota player first.
