Looking for a coach that can coach

: Sun Mar 29, 2009 7:42 pm
Last night I was in line with a blatant Hull forward pass, the touch judge who was also right in line saw it, started to raise his flag and then bottled it

The TJ will never raise his flag for a forward pass-ever

if harlequins get less penalties than most teams and are top of the fair play league (give away less penalties) maybe the refs in front of low crowds just let the game amble along with no fear of controversy

Sunday morning I caught the end of the re-run of the game on Sky, Phil Clarke and Stevo were brilliant, full of praise towards the club and their strategy of Local youth development. I think Phil's a secret Quins fan.................................

Not so much a Quins fan, more he's very pro on developing young British payers and then giving them a chance in the first team to help us get up to Ozzie standard. Quins are one team who are really doing it rather tahn just 'talking'.

I think PC will stay a Wigan fan, but I think we must be second

I have to say well done to Stevo as well, met him in the Kings bar after the game, and he was happy to talk, and he kept telling me to not give up and keep supporting the game, which I will of course, it was just nice hearing him say it.

The chant of Stevo stevo buy as a round in the griffin was classic......and he did (buy a few drinks)!

I didn't make the Kings bar last week :( But I was in the Bar after the Leeds match last year and Stevo was there. Top bloke, but what surprised me was his drink, I was expecting him to have a pint, but no! it was Red wine.......................

He had white wine on saturday...

I got him to sign my Quins flag* (which by the way is a very good initiative from the club for sky games).

*Don't ask why I got him to sign the flags, I was a little bit drunk and got a little star struck, even though I have met him before at Waterloo station on the way to Twickenham.

I saw him after a Saints game one time having a beer with Eddie and some other bloke in the Bird I'th Hand at the top of Dunriding Lane.
