It was a real arm wrestle and we only had 3 props but I was there and never thought we would lose and having seen the recorded game can say the same. The only shame for me was that Clubb should have got MoM. Great try and try saving tackle - at least we would have had a cockernee accent being interviewed!

Pretty much my own thoughts. We weren't lucky to win, we did more than enough to win, although we're probably lucky our extra fixture was against such an ordinary side, and we saw again how difficult it is for mid-table teams to follow up one immense performance with another of similar standard the following week.

Clubb's try and saving tackle to deny Paul were the moments of the match for me, and I had a great view of both from the ower stand near the corner where they occurred.

I agree with you on those POD. Clubby is very strong and very quick for a big lad. Not many his size would have reached Paul. He is very determined to score when he gets near the line and Im surprised we dont have more moves where they get him on the end to charge over at close range. I think he was very quick to jump onto at least one loose ball to get Quins posession

danny Ward knock on!!! could have been viewed a couple of ways, interference??? loose ball carry when he was standing up
rules state that the ball can be dropped on to the floor and played

but the thing to take away is play to the whistle!! which is what we did and good on the lads for that

The fact is that we won a game that we hardly deserved to. Something "new" for us - we picked up two points playing badly.

We backed up our win at Leeds - something we have failed to do in the past. We are fifth in Super League. Yes, we were bloody lucky to win, but we did something that the best sides have done for years - won a match despite playing poorly.

Well 2 of your tries shouldn't of been tries

I thought we were a bit flat after Leeds but as others have said, solid and defensively very strong. agree about Myler etc really excellent and without him salford were nothing. As for the knock on, penalty to us. Also why wasnt a salford player sin-binned for tackling williamson without the ball?
him. unsure which of our other tries wasnt a try?

Howell, Clubb and Dorn were all first class. Temata and Ward and LMS worked hard. Agree about Orr, but both he and Gafa need game time.

we won, which was important and we never looked like losing, which is good for my heart!

Lets be happy - if we hadnt had abberations against Catalan and Wigan we would be on the same points as St Helens, i for one am happy with that
