Ticketing Fiasco - Club Speaks (AGAIN) : Thu May 21, 2009 5:20 pm
As I posted on the thread on the Wakefield game, myself and the two people I sit with (all of us season ticket holders) went to take our seats on Sunday, only to find people who had just "purchased our seats" from the ticket office sitting in them!
I emailed the club and got this response:
We are terribly sorry for the error with your seats which I shall take up with the ticket office. It seems incredible that the systems allows this to happen and I apologise for the embarrassment and annoyance caused to find someone else sitting there.
The East stand seating areas AA and AB are the only areas unreserved. This is to help with ticketing promotions and keeping our community in the home stand. The problem lies with not having a full stadium and therefore allows moment.
The North and South are however unallocated throughout.
At the moment we are trying very hard to accommodated all concerned, therefore from time to time there are some teething problems.
Yet again sincere apologies and hopefully this will not occur again.
