Speaking to people in RU circles and they can't stand our game (even though it shares vague similarities ?).
Granted some people like both codes like most people like more than one sport.
Im sure Scudamore would like nothing more than football to be the only sport in existence.
Go on a ra ra forum and you'll get absolutely slated 1.class 2.inferior game tick and pass etc etc.
They'd love to see us fail.
But don't kid yourself that because no one official has gone on record that it doesn't exist.

Lastly i'll be honest i don't give two hoots about union it bores me to tears and im aware of people who feel the same in both directions. im sure some people high up would feel the same.
It's not childish to want your competitors to fail it's human nature.
I want RL to be the number 1 sport in the world and i care not for other sports.
