Now, without getting into a north south class spat, I just wanted to get some feedback on one of the initiatives the club have run this year.

For example...George thingymibobby from "Britains got too much time on its hands" wasn't a major success this year, yet the Wakey lot seem to think that this years winners Diversity will pull in the punters and boost their attendance when the Welsh come'a'calling.
Remains to be seen, but what think ye of the concept that your average southern sports fan/target isn't really as keen on dancers as say our friends north of Watford?

I think that whilst attacking the 15-18 market is good, it will not reap the benefits at TW2 that it may at Hell View.....

1. Get the product on the pitch right
2. Get the game day environment right
3. Sort out which day you are gonna play
4. Promote like hell, get contact details and promote like hell again.

Once you've done that and crowds are nudging 5k, then worry about who is doing the halftime singalong, if fact why both with it at all, get more punters in the bars, the club shops and at the food stands.

Its also £10 in if you get an advance ticket. Thats the main reason we are expecting a decent crowd. Do you not read my posts properly on the VT?

er...yes, I read your post. Not knocking the booking of diversity, just wondering how many votes for them came from a TW2 postcode household as compared with a wakefield post code. Premium rate phone competitions and Simon Cowell are not really interested in leafy middle class suburbs like Twickenham, but Wakefield ticks all the boxes EVERY TIME!
That was the question I posted....what people down here thought of the dance "event" we had earlier this year and the fiasco that is planned for this Saturday......I predict a sub 3,000 crowd given the CC semi is on the box....against us.

To be fair we missed the boat with Sampson, a year earlier and I'm sure the attendance would of seen a significent increase.
