Sounded good what I heard watching the Hammers game at Chelsea, seemed a solid performance Gower leading and Witt with his kicking boots on.

what a great win, hats off to the intrepid travellers. Really hope the home crowd get to see a performance at some point this season. I'll have to get up to an away game, Leeds on the friday night is do-able - we'll stuff 'em :-)
pronto

Sounds a good effort away from home again.
If only we could sort ourselves for a fixture at The Stoop.

"I'm sorry, but I would hope that we would beat Cas with a 1 day turnaround."

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Gower seems to save his best for when he plays against us. Fair play to London, totally outplayed us in every aspect of the game. Respect to the cluster of Bronco fans, made some noise could hear you from the other end of the ground. That old cliche', a week in sport is a long time to turn things around, just kinda hope that we can.

A fairly competent performance against a desperately poor Castleford side. I was concerned upon seeing their 17 as on paper I thought we were going to be in for a long afternoon.

However I was pleasantly surprised by the way our blokes stood up and put in a level of effort I haven't seen in 18 months. We bossed the game for 80 minutes - the first Cas try was never grounded but a bit of a cock up positioning wise by Dixon and their second was a very sloppy effort by 3 individuals who otherwise had excellent games. Other than that, it was our usual inabilty to convert territory to points that cost us the lead at half time.

Our defence was quality from 1-17. Bailey was outstanding. Robertson brilliant at full back. Will Lovell even impressed. Today was the first time I have noticed how vocal Channing is, winding up his opposites and he backed that up today with having Webster firmly in his pocket. Colbon also excellent on that wing.

Tony Clubb got a good run out today and I'm really starting to think he could be one of our top players for years to come. I just wish he would develop a nasty streak as I don't think many in the League would be capable of mixing it with him if he put his mind to it. Even Witt played well!

Robinson is obviously fit again hence his good performance. He is quality IMO. Its the lack of a good Centre that holds him back on the wing where he belongs. However because of our frailties at FB especially under the bombs needs must as we are hemouraging tries from those errors by other occupants.

Channing is a connundrum for me. The guy has a fantastic attitude for a player. Always gives 100% a great team player will attack the line and will pass when required and if you could put his brains and determination inside Dixons body we would have a world class player on our hands! However i worry that he will physically not make it at Centre. Can't we try him at Hooker? He has good acceleration for scooting, would score tries from there unlike Randall. Might need to bulk up for tackling though but im sure with our assistant coach's help he could make it. :D

Good stuff. But I'm afraid that I refuse to believe the final sentence!

My main worry is that the poor conditions made defending easier and that on a fast track against a fast side we are still vulnerable out wide.

Tentatively suggested that a couple of months ago. Might work but now is not the time to lose a centre.

People forget that Castleford was without Justin Carney and Weller Hauraki. Carney is a force of nature and a quality former NRL player. Castlefford are inspired by Carney's attacking skills. They will find it hard to win without him.
