Ricky Stewart is looking increasingly like he'll be a dole collector at the end of the NRL season, as does Mr Potter at Wests.Would DH be wise enough to start making enquiries, because there's no way Rea will be retained at the end of the year...is there?
If an Aussie coach can be taken from the NRL then maybe, just maybe, the culture at the club can be changed. Looking at the 2014 Squad list to date, the main task of any new coach next year would be to change the culture at the club, specifically on the park in the hope that they get the 7 or 8 wins needed for survival.
Gower had the passion in spades.....Soward gives the impression he'd die trying to win, but the mumbling bumbling Mr Rea seems content to continue along the lines that have delivered only 3 wins all season and the wooden spoon.
Next year (and this is not designed to be a dig at any of these clubs), the games home and away against Castleford, Widnes, Bradford, Wakefield and Salford are all key to survival........win all 10 and we stay up....lose more than 4 and we are in real trouble.
To me, the most important position that the club need to fill with key personnel in 2014 is the Coach...Stuart or even Potter would surely get more out of the squad that Uncle Tony
