I read with interest the tales of people getting tickets 10 days before this years event at 50% discount......yet again the RFL persevere with this flawed sales model .

Thinking about it Listy I think you have a point! They werent event £10 Wed tickets this year!

Wanted 3 tickets for this year, fussy about location. Faffed about on the website a few times for a few months without finding anything suitable. Then, about a month before the game found 3 seats, front row upper tier, dead central, right above the "Royal Box" [Royalty and rugby league are like Tennis and interesting - mutually exclusive]. Perfect seats. They hadn't been available on previous website visits. Mass cancellation?

Bonus: by leaning forward after the match and putting the camera into widescreen mode I was able to capture some rear views of the RFL's chief exec. making the presentations.

I'm waiting for the RFL to apologise for giving Wigan a home venue for our SF this season before I buy any tickets for next year.
