actually, the quip about being in the shop for xmas, followed by 8) was an aside......the purpose of the thread was to discuss potential shirts for the 2014 season, which you will find, we are currently due to be part of. The same boring shirts for the last 2 seasons and from the reaction on here and the cash raised for the foundation from their sale, the Challenge Cup special edition shirts would be a popular option. The second design I recommended would be a tip'o the hat to our new landlords.......but you felt the need to concentrate on the xmas remark that was obviously tongue in cheek.

As for making it about "me".....I think you'll find you did that with your personal comment (incorrect BTW.,....the money wasn't right for me at the time) about me being blown out by the club.

As for the shirts being in the shop by xmas.......and I repeat, I was joking when I posted it, it would seem that you have become that used to incompetence that you now are happy to accept it as the norm......a sad indictment of the damage the club has done over many years to the relationship with one of its most important assets.....its fan base!

You crack me up. Telling people what they say or how they are used to incompetence etc.

Do you know when you have a mate and you go to the pub every night and every night they start to go on about another mate over and over and over. And at first you may agree and are a bit sympathetic, but because they keep going on and on about it you start to really lose interest in their constant whining? And then you lose interest, because you realise that they drag you down?...

It must say something about the Broncos when so many of the posts about the club come from the other side of the world rather than its hinterland. Are you two more optimistic than the rest of us, better informed, or out of touch with the reality of the current situation?

Can't speak for RB who is well connected in RL circles, but I am an optimist when it comes to London Broncos.

It's beginning to look like you're the last one. Let's hope you're right and us doubters are wrong....

David Hughes and the club have given assurances to Nigel Wood regarding London completing their fixtures for 2014. I have reservations as to how competitive the team will be and am pretty sure that 2015 will be a Championship Rugby League season for the club, but there will be a London Broncos in SL in 2014.
Not sure if they will play at the Hive in 2014 or if they will be back at Griffin Park or even play out of the stoop, but I doubt Wood would have accepted assurances for Hughes et al without knowing that we had secured a back up ground if the Hive isn't a goer.

I know I am, I'm sure I am
I'm Broncos 'til they die!

I want the club to survive. It's the club I follow, I can't say support as I have been here since the end of the 1999 season. So I never really saw a poor London Broncos team in Super League. You poor buggers have had to put up with so much on and off the pitch.

It saddens me to see how it is is the truth. But, I am aware of recruitment which means to me there's a future for a bit longer.

I'm am surprised GF says he's an optimist after reading some of his posts. No offence GF.

None taken....I often run my mouth and rant away, but the bottom line is that if we lose faith, then we may as well pack up and watch soccer/union.....the game is bigger than any individual or club and it is up to the management of the game to ensure that it flourishes.

Personally, I can't see how the game in the UK can flourish without a London presence at the top tier........but is it the decisions of a few "small town mentality" members that will ultimately decide the fate of the game in the UK.

....I am hopeful that the club will be granted 3 years protection from relegation and that we will be allowed sign more foreigners, making the club a viable investment opportunity, but I temper that with a regret that it has come to this.
