Was ticket money really going to the club at the Stoop? 2/3rds went directly to the Stoop in rent and the rest seems to me just reduced the amount of losses covered by the owner. Losses that at the end of last season he appeared less willing to cover and so threatened extinction.

This is surely a pointless argument. I wish they had not let the Stoop, it suited me personally. The Club loses money - full stop, whether we finished in the top 8 we would lose money. Most sport teams lose money - unless you are Man Utd. We have a team going into 2014, 4 months ago that looked debatable. on paper we had a top 8 team for the last two years, we never played and finished virtually bottom for two years.

So i think the membership is complicated, may work out more than last year - but for god sake we have a team, if we can sign two more props we might have a decent team. Lets stop bloody moaning and get on supporting the team. Otherwise why are we on this site?
