Supporters Association first meeting - Tuesday March 18th : Fri Mar 07, 2014 11:43 am
We're now in a position to formally launch the Rugby League London Independent SupporTers association (RL LIST) http://rllist.wordpress.com at a meeting on the evening of Tuesday March 18th - central London venue will be confirmed early next week. We are scattered across the South East and with a match day at the Hive not yet being an option we thought central London during the week was the best option.
Initially the proposal is to form an Association rather than a Trust - a Trust is a legally constituted entity governed by Company Law and Supporters Direct advised (rightly in my opinion) that we should kick off with an Association, start working, and be ready for whatever presents itself down the line! I hope you can find time to make this meeting. A draft set of rules can be found on the About page of the website. If you can't make it you can express your opinion on the Have Your Say page. I'm confident we have a core of loyal supporters who can really make a difference to the Club and the game in London; there are many already who are committed to make this work. Any ideas (an inside track to a convenient venue?) or feedback welcomed through the website, or PM me or e-mail rllist@me.com. Better still collar me at the game on Sunday! |
