OK.....another season at TW2 kicks off in just over 5 weeks and there seems to be mixed feelings about how the team will go. For me, I expect another lower half finish and there is a real fear that we could actually finish last.....something that will make it all the worse if a heartland team gets ejected from SL.....these boards will become unbearable.Off the pitch the club is again in disarray. The useless GM who was promoted to CEO for no reason I can fathom, has left and again, David Hughes will have to step into the breach until another "leader" can be found. With the cutbacks that have been made with regard to decent signings, it remains to be seen if any money will be made available to market the game. The RFL are supposedly "assisting", but they have done this in the past with no tangible benefits seen.
So, will this be the year that we record our lowest positional finish and have the lowest average gates? I believe it will be and for all the talk of getting a squad of young local talent together, we will be looking at trying to avoid last place and another bout of last minute free ticket offers to try to bump up the average gates
