GF I looked at the wigan board, before I posted that, they are not happy because they did not "put on the show" that they expect and did not rack up a cricket score. Wayne actually complimented us on the performance if you read the report! Wayne actually has a go at his own supporters for not creating the atmosphere at the game. Cant see anyone especially Wayne saying its a training run. We all agree we lost, we are all getting the poop polishing t shirts, nobody is saying we are all of a sudden gonna leap up to 4th with a string of wins! But as sports fan you have to look at the positives as well as the negatives. Your view is Wigan took it as a training run, others view it as maybe the London squad started getting it together and were competing for parts of the game, resulting in wigan not playing at there best!

Nicely argued, sir

A Motley Crew, indeed, Rammo even got thrown out at end by stupid stewards, a CLASSIC night out, Folk Law Legends + we did play well

Wigan had a bad day at the office. They let London in for 2 scores before cracking off 26 unanswered points.......as for the Wigan coach saying that he believes that we played better than he'd seen all season, his out of sorts team still did us by 22

Wigan scored a total of 112 in the two league games last season against us and beat us 70-0 in the cup; I think they were 58-0 up after 61 minutes in that one.

In this one it was 16-10 after 61 minutes; the guys keeping Wigan out for the first 26 minutes of the first half and again for the first 21 minutes of the second half.

We remain a side that ships in two tries in consecutive sets but earlier on this season it was so soon it was a no contest and now we are working harder

I will be disgusted if we fold at home to the frogs as we are better than that, certainly good enough to score 18-24 and keep them within range.

Heres a quote from another site/forum I go on Peza,

" You wasn't the London fan who got smashed and started kicking off was you pete lol "

Apparently you've entered Pie folk-lore, dude! :ROCKS:

Half of that was true, I was a bit worse for wear but not sure I was kicking off!

Yes there was over the top celebrations for the first two scores and a barage of abuse for the ref, but it was all good fun and there were lots of shakes of the hand at the end and the pie eaters genuinely were impressed snd suprised with our performance.

Because of being away the weekend and having to go see someone about flowers!! I have not been allowed to go on Thursday night. I fear for the attendance. :DEPRESSED:

Losing by 22 points to Wigan. Not bad for a team likened to a "turd".

Turd polishing was done on Mythbusters - It is possible but not recommended.

There's a key word there......can you hazard a guess to what it is?
