The winner of Super League I feel should get a reward that is worthy of winning week in week out, yes I do remember the old play-offs, but was that not in the days when you received winning money or losing money? If people do not agree that it is disappointing when teams are not interested in winning every match, then I respect that is their opinion, unlike one poster who can only ever be right himself Would you get top teams in the Premiership in football not bothered if they do finish top? Huddersfield players several of them said at the start of the season that they did not want to finish top? no wonder supporters at many top Super League Clubs are now more choosing matches they attend!
Stop changing the subject. You criticised RL for having the play off winners as champions, I then corrected you and pointed out that it's been that way for the vast majority of RL's history. Another poster then named a number of other sports that do likewise.
As to your second argument - the lack of interest in every match - that's nothing to do with the structure and more that we have too many teams and not enough talent to fill them. Everyone knows you can afford to lose matches and still make the play offs. As to soccer, well once the middling teams are safe from relegation they tend to give up. Other teams strive only to make the Champions League as that's where the money is. The cup competitions are disregarded as getting in the way of staying in the PL.
