It will be interesting to see what Hendon goes with. Wez has done his 3 games so must be back in the running for a place in the squad next week, so far this year he has not been that good with the boot, leatherbarrow hoofed a couple from the touchline yesterday. It's good that we have options in the place kicking. Open field kicking we have not been the best , if you keep the ball low on the plastic pitch it does skid on we don't seem to have thought about that. I am surprised we have not seen more 40/20

Admittedly I've only seen highlights but what does Leatherbarrow offer?

He certainly doesn't seem involved in any of our tries and his goal kicking has been decent at best.

Just wondering if it would be better to give Eliab an extended run at 6 and Barthau at 7.

Or am I missing something with Leatherbarrow?

Leatherbrow - i think he is a steady player, who doesnt do anything outstanding, but also doesnt make many mistakes.

Wez - i think his kicking was pretty sound against dewsbury, so i suspect he will get the job back when he is back.

Eliab - not sure what the issue is here? i understand the one year contract was offered on he basis there were concerns how he would settle, and someone posted that he was poor against Fev in the Cup. But agree i would like to see him given a go.

We need another play maker, at the moment we only have Barthau...............

Think you have hit the nail on the head with leatherbarrow decent and does not make many mistakes! So in other words a pretty solid player who keeps hold of the ball and does not give away free mtrs with penalties, if a few more of the squad could do that then we would be winning easier than we are.
Eliab, you have to ask if he is fit.
Talking if injuries anyone heard how Joe keyes is?

Dont think there is an issue with Eliab. He missed pre season and the opening games due to visa issues, picked up a niggle in training and is being given time to settle in/get up to speed. Its not like we have been getting humped every week without him. No need to rush him in. I am sure we will see him soon (like when the grounds harden up/sun comes out). And i am sure he will have a big impact.
