The day after the Middle 8s fixtures are announced, we get peed about again, by a date change for our Huddersfield game.
As London fans, no thought is ever given as to how this change will affect our travelling fans.
I am sure that some people will have bought train tickets which cannot be changed.
Do the RFL understand how expensive it is following the Broncos at away games. To get the cheapest tickets you have to get in as early as you can and these tickets are not changeable.
For me I booked a Hotel, but fortunatly I can change the booking, however it is not very convenient and it is more expensive.
Every year this seems to happen. There is no apology, the attitude is, well not many travel so let us just ignore them.
For Petes sake, the surely could have sorted this out before publishing the dates.
Really it is not good enough.

It's all geared up for the super poop clubs us championship sides are here to make the numbers up.
It's like us we play Leeds on a Friday night at Leeds

I have no issue with playing the game on a Friday night. Just do not publish that it will be played on a Sunday, then the VERY NEXT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Change it to a Friday.
The earlier that you buy your train tickets, the cheaper they are. However the cheap tickets cannot be changed once book, so several people I know have blown over a hundred pounds each.
The other problem I have is, this happens to us on a regular basis, either date and or venue changes. It is just not good enough.

Bosty, not making excuses for the RFL or Sky, and I get the fact that the earlier you buy the cheaper it is, but maybe the thing to take away from this especially for these games is dont rush to book stuff, let em release the schedule accept that there is likely to be some jiggling of the fixtures and then book when the dust has settled. Its happened before so we shoudl know its going to happen again.
I do agree though you would have thought on the 25/26 the RFL and Sky would have sat down looked at the fixtures and said what they want to do so that when they make the big announcement on the 27 as they did the fixtures were set in stone

Even by your standards that is poor Mickey. The onus is on the company providing the services to provide something the customer will buy into. I understand you are MoD and probably haven't experienced Quality assurance and control at its finest, but this is a classic example of where, when it fails there is no customer satisfaction even customer financial loss. Giants have changed one other fixture that I'm aware off.

No excuses Mickey this is a company with poor customer service.

Let's not forget.All clubs are privy to the fixture list before the RFL publish them. Giants at fault,RFL ask Broncos,they agree or don't have a choice due to the incompetence of someone at the Giants.

What is more regarding this, there has been no apology. A simple SORRY might have softened the blow.
Am I right in thinking that this change has been made for Huddersfields convenience, not be because of Sky.

Am not making excuses for anyone, just saying we all know it's likely to happen so maybe the sensible approach is not to rush into booking travel and accommodation, sitting back for a day or two may be a thought and would save some folk money, am not condoning it or saying it's right.

As for customer service, obviously you have no understanding of the company I work in.

Playing the game on a Friday night for us is never ideal obviously Hudds are assuming very few of us would have travelled anyhow.

Does anyone know what the actual procedure is for establishing which days games are played on? Does it have to be agreed by both clubs?
