Club have announced a fifth friendly against York. The game is on the Sunday following The Skolars game
I would assume that the team that plays The Skolars will be similar to that that we saw last Saturday and the stronger team will play at York. The intention is to give the team a chance to acclimatise themselves to the away game experience.
Hope it goes better than last year, when we played Dewsbury, on a dreadful pitch, where we awful.

Just booked my train tickets. Plan to have a few hours in the City, then off to the rugby.

January 29th from memory.

If anyone is,making a weekend of it I stayed in the Shoulder of Mutton a couple of seasons back. Walkable from the city centre, basic but decent value rooms and excellent food at the time. If it is still in the same hands the owners are York fans and sponsor the club.

If the Broncos play a youthful team because of the York game, I can see a Skolars win. Skolars stronger than York at the moment. Good to get an away game up north for the newbies though.

on paper York are now starting to look like they might make up into a decent team by Championship 1 standards. Ash Robson, Tim Spears and Adam Robinson all very useful signings. Obviously they might still be a bit behind in terms of preparations though.
