I don't think it's a case of being cast aside as you say. It's down to making it worthwhile doing it! If people just stopped coming should a team continue to play in the professional arena. In an ideal world taking us as an example, we would be pulling crowds that made us self sufficient. Reality not many clubs Dan claim that, and all rely on a benefactor to keep them afloat. Rugby league as a sport in this country struggles, why? Not sure, in my view it's a much better game than yawnion! So how can wasps up sticks from there traditional support Base move 60 miles and flourish? If RL takes off in n America as it well could it could be the re birth of the sport, but it would have to be a radical re birth.
