Whilst I respect the rules of the game and the fact they are there to support and assist the players and prevent serious injury this seems harsh. There was no doubt the lift was made but there was no malice in it just the speed of the game. I also appreciate Harrison had to be disciplined but again there seems some inconsistency. Here is a copy of another players report. I have removed the name of the player below and this leads me to ask what was the differenced apart from the punishment.
Player lifts leg of opponent prior to opponent offloading the ball. Player does lift leg of opponent beyond the horizontal however player rotates opponent during the tackle to ensure opponent lands safely on back.

It was at the end of the game at Bradford, it was right in front of us and I did not see much in it. He was sin binned for it though. Saw worse at Blackpool go unpunished.
My point exactly Bostwick. Why such a harsh punishment as a two match ban, we did see far worse in Blackpool and also in Newcastle and all went unpunished at the time and no further punishment thereafter.
