I know the LBSA has a few bits and pieces but does the club have any pieces that they could maybe show?? What I am getting at, is it a possibility that we may be able to find a home at Trainfinders to put anything the club/LBSA has on show. Despite not winning much we have had quite a history and would expect the club could have amassed some decent bits??

I believe the dreadful Gus McKay was responsible for the loss of a lot of club memorabilia.He directed that it be thrown away. Steve Magee saved some I think, but there is an obvious problem there.
I know that the Steve Newcombe holds some on the LBSAs behalf. And I am sure fans have plenty tucked away.
If you were at the Rochdale away game last season you will know that Rochdale received a grant for their museum which their Chairman proudly gave us a tour of.

Shame, it would be great to have a LB museum style display somewhere.

I see Worcester RU are continuing to shed fans at an alarming rate and once Bristol replace London Irish, I expect his acumen as a sports administrator to again be rewarded with a "door-ward arrow" .....Surrey (Cricket), Broncquins (RL) and now Union......the guy is a friggin' legend!

I have no doubt if he were employed in any capacity at Leeds Rhinos they'd be playing out of Elland road with a new nick-name in front of 3,000 fans within 3 years......

We do have quite a good Archive now http://www.lbsa.org.uk/archive/ Primarily programmes (including a full collection of Fulham home programmes) but also playing shirts, some framed ones rescued from a skip by the way, and indeed Jamie Soward's last scrum cap! We did a "proto" display of the match programme last season when we celebrated the win over Canberra Raiders in the World Club, and we are keen to do something on a regular basis. In fact plan is to do a temporary wall display at the next home game to see what members think. In the meantime get in touch if you have any items you think of interest. We are committed to respecting the Club's history, hence our Hall of Fame http://www.lbsa.org.uk/heritage/hall-of-fame/ and Heritage events http://www.lbsa.org.uk/heritage-week-2017/. Any donations will be treated with respect.

I have O'Callaghans number 30 away shirt from a few years back at Quins RL.......I don't think It'll even get over y head now.....

didn't one of our fans donate a lot of stuff when they moved home. dont know what it was but thought there was a framed shirt and others in there. must be about a year or so ago.

Indeed There are News items on the LBSA website about donations, most cataloguing so far has been of Programmes. Pictures of all bar Roger’s donation a couple of weeks ago are on the website.
