Wakey supporter here, not coming on as a wind up and would appreciate some information.
Is there anyone with inside knowledge of the workings of your club who can tell me if your players have been given the week off training due to no game at the weekend. Reason I ask is that wakey have done so and it's a bit contraversial

After the first half your lot put in this week it looks like they need some time off.
As for what london decide to do, sure someone on here will know but not sure what difference it makes to what Chris Chester has decided to do

It seems to be a norm these days, so often when clubs play Thursday or Friday, players are seen on Instagram within hours in Ibiza, big change from returning to go down the pit! lol

Reported in League Weekly that Broncos players were allowed some time off and returned to training on Thursday. Believe one fan bumped into a player having a break in Scarborough.

Feel it is up to the coaches how they plan training, as they see what condition the players are in on a daily basis. If they feel a couple of days away will help the mind and body so be it.

Don't disagree in the least! all my comment was about is how times have changed with players, I remember in Cliff Watson's book how he talked about working for Greenall Whitley the then large St Helens bases brewery, how all day long he was lifting heavy wooden beer barrel's all day long! and then training at night time, not modern gym's then. Ray French was a grammar school teacher then, but during the school holidays he joined Cliff at work delivering the large beer barrels and Frenchie struggled to even lift one of them,
