The club really does need to have a careful think about their social media policies. This is getting ridiculous.
You imply they are capable of thought???
Judging by the matchday pictures posted thus far this season (with crowds), the average age of supporter has crept ever nearer that of the poundland oligarch. There are very few pictures of young enthusiastic fans, just pensionable aged folk.
Whilst the clubs efforts to build traction on social media have come a tad too late (a decade at least), I find it amazing that a club with 26,000 Twitter Followers & 11,500 FB likes is relying on busloads of fans from a local retirement home to even get 250 fans to games.
In short halfdan. Social Media activity is the least of the clubs issues. 50%+ of their fanbase has decided not to return post covid with many citing the increased pricing and lack of direct contact.
If the 3rd wave arrives and forces the season to be cut short (at least in terms of meaningful spectator attendance) then 2022 is the last year for the London Broncos to even pretend they want to get it right.
Contact every single fan, lapsed or otherwise and "ask them" to come back. Alas....it'll be a bus stop poster in Wimbledon, sticks in the ground and a KO time expecting 20,000dons fans to immediately be bitten by the RL bug....because that's what has worked so well everywhere else
