Chance for redemption on the field next Sunday against York City Knights, and the game will be the fourth staging of the John Sullivan Trophy https://www.lbsa.org.uk/john-sullivan-trophy-2021/. The "Sully" has quickly established itself in the Broncos family calendar; Sully was an Academy player who tragically took his own life in 2014. The Sully is a vehicle for us all to promote the awareness of young mens' mental health issues - whether Rugby league players or not - and we will again be raising money for CALM - the Campaign against Living Miserably https://www.thecalmzone.net. Since the announcement of the game to LBSA members last Thursday over £150 has already been raised, and I'm hopeful we'll pass £300 again as we did with our "Virtual Sully" in 2020, coincidentally on the day we should have played the Knights. The LBSA is providing a superb new Trophy to use from this game on - let's hope the Broncos can make it four from four!

Tweeted earlier today that we had passed £380 and since then we've blown through £400! We're also selling last year's Academy playing shirts with half the proceeds donated to CALM in Sully's name. LBSA members (Full and Associate) have first dibs - will open this out later this week
