It could be worse, you could be the WRU (Wales Rugby Union).

Then you get a load of cash for your game, but use it to build a 5 star hotel instead.

It is telling (or not) the Union have been happy to discuss the numbers invested by VC companies and even the NRL mentioned a valuation of 3 billion AU$ when mulling it over, but the RFL/SL have gone down the Stobart route...giving IMG some major aspects of their products in exchange for a cut of the income......
I see 2 x 10 divisions, no relegation, play offs, games 5 days a week or more and increased TV exposure....this is a very American company who know how to make money.....question is how will the SL owners take to being told what to do?

A/ I'm just one of a dozen or so "old whiners' on an internet forum
B/ Everything Hughes and the club are currently doing is working perfectly
C/ He is a stubborn old narcissist who doesn't take advice
D/ A marketing specialist once reversed his car over Hughes' Dog
E/ All of the above and other inane reasons

Unless Hughes knows that London will be involved in this New IMG Stooper league, I can see no logic in any decisions made at the club in the last 18 months
