Objectively yes it probably be is but if someone gets sacked then there is no one to put out the napkins in the Gold Lounge.

I expected to see Social Media awash with pictures of the jam-packed Gold lounge and a video of the player of the match as well as Mustards interview to the enthralled sponsors, but as of the time typing, the club have yet to put up the score from Friday or a match report and there's no banner or route to buy tickets for our next home game.

The fixation with corporate sales as well as the discounting of this offer after only 2 home games makes me think that Hughes is fixated with this "straw man" as proof that he was right to drag us to Wimbledon. His narcissism will never let him admit he gets anything wrong and the announcement of the gate on Friday shows that they think 940 is a good result....it f()(king well isn't!

Corporate hospitality here in NZ is a whole new level to the Broncos. For example, I can buy a ticket to the Hurricanes v Melbourne Rabble from $20. That's about a tenner in your coin. However, if I want corp hospitality, then that starts at $285 and includes food and drink. As the price dictates, this is truly CORPORATE hospitality, with no private individuals going to pay that much, but businesses happily doing so. Hughes, Monkey and Loubser FAILED to sell to enough corporates in games 1 and 2, so instead of trying harder, Monkey resigned and the other 2 decided to try and fleece the few remaining loyal fans they have left, including offering a discounted entry price and a discounted offer to Season Ticket holders. This is not corporate Hospitality. If the room holds 300, then it's 10k at best of revenue...when Hughes took over we had gate receipts of 80k.

Hughes has a record of missing opportunities.

When we arrived at Quins, they were a 2nd tier outfit with about 9k fans which had a huge Business network, regularly hosted the local chamber of commerce group, had community and charitable foundations and they were active in welcoming us as "partners". We arrived as prior season play off contenders with about 3,900 as an average. Discounting the 12k double header, our first year there delivered 4,334, then Hughes took sole control......in 8 years of his stellar leadership at Quins that number dropped to 2,213....after his dummy spit that year, 2013 we collapsed to an average of 1,294 at The Hive. 3,600 fans lost in 9 years. We can blame Gus all we like, but HUGHES was the architect of this travesty. His pig headed stubbornness and refusal to ether accept advice or admit his mistakes enabled MacKay to steal a wage for 1,171 days in which time he shed fans at a rate of 1.5 a day
Worcester saw through MacKay inside 500 days....Cricket Scotland just over 700 but Hughes refused to fire the man that oversaw the darkest ('til now that is) period for the club

As for the current CEO? He stepped up April 1 2014 and in the following 2967 days has stolen a wage whilst managing to negotiate a move to a wedding venue where we delivered bigger crowds than they'd ever seen but gave us nothing from the money spent by these fans whilst paying rent, absolutely missing a huge opportunity when we fluked our way back to SL, orchestrated an unneeded move away from our west London base and who now is hiding behind his ability to fleece loyal fans out of a few bob by selling them an overpriced pie and a table with a view of the owner.

AFC Wimbledon are our Landlords. They are not our "partners' or our best mates either, but I have no doubt that they would have welcomed the participation of the Broncos is a day where the local community were shown around the new facility on their doorstep. The London Broncos failure to participate, especially given the low numbers of fans we have delivered to their stadium is an unforgiveable snub to our hosts and one that I believe shows how little Hughes cares for relationship building or partnerships.

This club and that man make me so goddamned angry. :DEPRESSED:
