I’d definitely like to see Tindall get more of the ball but I think the opposition have worked out he’s our go to and I’m not sure we are quite sharp enough to pick him out and not get intercepted so we play it safe.

Basically we’re about 4 players short and tough games like this do us no favours. Quite a few picked up knocks. 

Was the Cakeman there?

Marcus going off definitely had an adverse effect and effected the interchanges, but I was confused why we waited so long to bring Monk off the bench. Granted it was a big Batley pack, but Monk isn't a small body and as a former half/now "ball playing 13" could've posed a different threat, particularly when we were camped on their line and had them scrambling.


We did seem very flat and disjointed and a bit of sniping at each other at times too. Hopefully the last we see of it.

Not what you would expect from an Eccles coached team. Nothing from Mike for over a week now,  that's why I asked if anyone saw him there. 

I hope it's nothing significant, but if no Mike & no loanees does make you wonder what might be afoot. No, don't say 12 inches BT. Thank you. 

Pretty sure ME was there. No idea why there has been no media stuff from him though. 


The loan players were requested back by their clubs  - which for the Wigan lads both played in their clash v Hull KR so makes sense.
