Paul Blanchard : Tue Mar 17, 2009 3:12 pm
After an extensive Google research campaign I believe that this is a good appointment by the Club and one that will pay dividends.
It would seem that, even though he only spent 6 months in East Hull (for whick he deserves a medal ) he is well liked by all concerned with HKR. I am particularly pleased with the quote from HERE "Blanchard built on that launch to record Surrey's best financial year in 2007, with a turnover of £23m and a retained profit of over £750k. He was also responsible for the largest domestic sponsorship deal in cricket with Brit Insurance." Also pleasing is the quote below "Harlequins FC Chief Executive, Mark Evans, added: “I am delighted to welcome Paul to the Harlequins family and look forward to working with him in a close and mutually beneficial way.” All in all, a positive step by the club and one that they have obviously worked hard to achieve. The future's bright...the future's multicoloured |
