Anyone know of a pub where we can all congregate before our game..I know there are special fans areas around the ground but for those of us who require an early start, a pre-match pre- stadium meet up is essential..Suggestions please .....

Why not cheer on the London team at the tag tourney next door to the ground?

Steve - What about the Standing Order in George Street? It's a Spoons pub and pretty central for the station etc.

It might fit the bill as a meeting up point (and gets a good write up in the Good pub guide).

Any other suggestions?

And Grassmarket is full of 'down and outs' about 6pm waiting to get in to their hostel for their meal. Watch yousel's - they's aw pished'

There's just too much choice of pubs in Edinburgh!

Think we will head to the Standing Order for 12 ish on Saturday (think it's handy for a couple of Murrayfield buses and those requiring a breakfast can get one there).

Paddock - if you find a better option on the day, give one of us a call and we'll come and find you. Otherwise, we'll see you in the SO or at the ground.
