I see on Sky Sports website that Purdo has signed a new 2 year contract through to 2011.

Great to see our players committing to the team and also the team trying to sign the players before the end of the season

Announced yesterday in the Jesters. The fact that we have a squad that is sticking together, a coach who expects us to win every game and a small, but vocal and loyal fan base makes Harlequins Rugby League an attractive proposition for any player.
As Purdo said yesterday, when he came down to play in london, it wasn't an attractive option to most players up north, but now.........it is!
Whilst I do not think we are quite there yet, if we can keep this lot together for 2010 and keep them fit, we will get our first ever HOME play-off game at the stoop.

I am expecting it this Year to be honest with You, Fridays game willl be interesting to see how close this club is to consistently matching Saints and Leeds

Agree that this is great news on top of all the other contract extensions announced in the last couple of weeks.

I wonder who's driving all of this? I thought that Paul Blanchard wasn't involved in player recruitment/retention, but this trend has only been established since he arrived.
