Gotta say that seems to be quite lenient to me.

If he did that to me when i played he would have had 4 weeks in intensive care.

Given "his previous good disciplinary record " and that "no serious injury was caused" I can't help but feel that 3 games is pretty harsh.

Then again, after Catalans last year I'm surprised they didn't hand out further bans to other players who were not involved.

As I recall, it was Howell who thumped Croker initially in the Catalans debacle, so he's probably got more of a record than anyone else in the Quins side. Shade lucky perhaps, but I'm pretty happy about it as a key player for us.

Didn't he also get red carded twice in his first season for head hunting [or lazy technique] ?
