I was stunned when I read that earlier. An absolute disgrace.

stunned....but not shocked. One rule for some teams and the book thrown at others.

Oh c'mon. Sour grapes and silliness. Howell led with the elbow: it was as plain as day. Cunningham hit out and unintentionally hit Stosic's eye. He was simply given the benefit of the doubt. In fact, like Howell, who would likely have got a longer ban had he not had a clean record (as has Cunningham). Kieron has been given a formal caution, which means he has a black mark on his record for a few months so has to be squeaky clean or it's the naughty step for him. We [ihave[/i had one player banned this season, you know. Fas. For a chicken wing tackle. So you see, we don't have the RFL in our pockets after all.

So, he pokes the end of the ball in an opponents face and just "accidentally" hits him in the eye.



So, if I drive my car along the pavement and "accidentally" hit a pedestrian, I'll just get a warning. Very reassuring. I'll try it tomorrow.

What was he hitting out at given he was below the tackler and had limited movement and targets to hit.
