I am new to Rugby but one of the reasons it attracted me was the social element and meeting opposition supporters over a pint without fear of trouble. Why do Quins RL seem intent on preventing after match interaction between fans, who travel a long way and are unaware of other watering holes nearby, fistly by closing the bar at 6.30 (90mins after final whistle) and secondly ignoring the captured public to generate much needed revenue.
Add to that the most sullen bar staff in West London.
Top quality 1st post!
I have never known the Kings bar to close at 6.30! There is a live band that normally start 40 minutes after full time and then the players come out of the members bar and mix with the fans. FWIW, a chap from Hull won the half time 50/50 draw and was in a rush to collect his winnings as the coach was leaving 15 minutes after the final whistle and as such, there were very few Hull fans left after the game anyway.
As for the staff........I agree apart from you missed out SLOW!
Final point of order my little fisherman/woman......we kicked off against Hull FC at 6pm on saturday march 28th....so think that I would have noticed that I couldn't get a drink at half time
Let's see how you get on with your second post
